You don't need to worry about bumping it while in transit. When you actually own one, you will get used to carrying it and not worry about such trivial things. It is a very robust little machine and there have even been a few people on the list that have dropped it and one poor guy fell with it and all of the machines were fine. It's not like you are going to go out and drop it from a four story window. It is perfectly capable of being carried every where. The only time you want to worry about it is in the rain when you would want to have an actual bag to carry it in to protect it and all its ports from the rain (or carrying it under your coat works too).
Cindy -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Rob Lambert Sent: Sunday, March 25, 2007 6:03 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Braillenote] Portability factor I know someone on here has both a PK and a BrailleNote Classic (which is the same form factor as the mPower) and I was wondering - which would be better for a teacher-to-be who wishes to keep an eye on their students' records while in transit? I'm just worried about accidentally bumping the mPower against something (such as a pole on the public bus) especially after hearing of those display problems and i think the PK would have a far less chance of this. Also what kind of pocket can the PK fit in? Can it fit in a pants pocket or would that be a tight pinch? ____________________________________________________________________________ ________ Get your own web address.
