I can see no moral grounds on which RFB&D can refuse Humanware after allowing freedom scientific for the same purpose. Since people will have to buy UAK from RFB&D and no one but a member will buy that UAK, agreements with publishers is no excuse.
Best time to strike when the iron is hot.
Please HW pull it through this time.

Hello:

This is great news! RFBD has made it difficult to allow their books to work with other companies readers as they are trying to maintain their legal agreements with publishers. Humanware is doing things right if they can pull this off. I will very much appreciate having this option available on my BN. This time I'm having to use the Vibe for RFBD, a LOC player for Talking Books, and the BrailleNote for Web Braille and Bookshare.

I look forward to the time when the LOC Talking Book machine and the Vibe are both replaced by the BrailleNote. The fewer machines the better!
