Well, with the BN family, you go to the BookShare site and log in, and then you may download books or newspapers or whatever. Then, once downloaded, you need to unpack each book/newspaper and tell the BN where to save it. And, to unpack a BookShare book, you need to open it from the book reader application.
Here is a link to a Main Menu demo of the BN and BookShare--well, it is a bit old now, but it will at least give you an idea.
