Hi all,
Thank you for all your replies to my questions.
the feedback and people's different reasons for why they use the keyboard they use is very interesting. I am going to go and try out an MPower with a qt keyboard and make my decision on what to do.
Thanks again for all the replies,
have a great day,
from Andrew

Hello all,

If one has a Braillenote BT, one can plug in a external USB keyboard. This
works well if one needs to type in computer braille.

You qt people are lucky not to have to be able to use computer Braille.
I still love my bt and would not give it up for the world. I think it
is because I started learning Braille in second grade and also I have
large fingers so I like the spaciousness of the bt. Its just like
compairing the brailler and the slate, what you learn first is what you
are the best at. As you can guess, they tought me the brailler first.

Hi, Andrew!

I use the QT and am very pleased with it. The one thing
that I am grateful for on the QT is the ability to
write emails and other things without having to use
Computer Braille Code all the time. You don't have to
worry about converting everything just to send things
through email. I like to write fast, and it would be
such a nuisance to have to remember to use the extra
keystrokes for braille stuff. I love reading in
braille, but I prefer typing with the QT keyboard.
