Viruses are not something to be worried about when using the BrailleNote.
Even though the BrailleNote is based on Windows CE 4.2, which I am sure
there are viruses written for, there is the KeySoft layer that HumanWare
wrote that allows for the BrialleNote to function with CE 4.2 without the
visual components. The benefit and downfall of KeySoft is that it is a
closed platform, meaning that there are no viruses, the only people who are
able to write programs that will run on KeySoft are Sendero Group and
HumanWare, so there is virtually nothing to worry about.
