Hello:
Battery replacement requires sending the unit to Humanware. It
is not user replaceable.
If you are in the States and your unit is used for employment or
educational purposes your State blind services may be convinced
to purchase the battery replacement and buy you an upgrade SMA
the same time. To do this you will need to make an argument to
justify the expense and that would need to list those ways that
the unit is essential in continuing with your job.
Best of luck.

Subject: [Braillenote] battery question
Hello everyone,
I have been charging my battery for the past five hours, and
the percentage is at 37. I have had this unit for almost two
years, so I know that the battery needs to be replaced.
A state agency bought this unit for me. How do I go about
replacing the battery? How much does it cost? Will I have to pay
for it, or will the state agency do that?
Thanks for any help
Janel
