The basic differences between the classic and mPower:
USB host ports (2) for external devices from CD drives to storage devices to keyboards to printers Bluetooth for connecting to other devices for modem, activesync, printing, embossing, and GPS
USB mini for connecting to a PC for activesync
128 mb of onboard storage (though the flash disk reports itself as 120 mb) instead of the classic's 16 mb
64 mb of ram instead of... well, whatever the classic has
recording--the button, internal and external microphones.
SD card support
no parallel port
a faster processor (216 mhz in the classic, 400 mhz in the mPower)
FM radio
playlists and playing music in the background
streaming media online
Eloquence speech (not as responsive as Keynote Gold)
stereo headphone output
DAISY support in keybook (also for RFBD books when RFBD starts allowing it) a new color scheme: dark green keys on a silvery shell (if you care)

I know I am missing a lot. My mPower is truly the most empowering device, if you will pardon the pun, that I have ever used. With it I can do so much in school and with others--use SD cards or USB drives to exchange stuff, go to almost any website as anyone else (sometimes using www.skweezer.net to do so), keep track of all my contacts using Keybase, use a bluetooth GPS receiver (so much more convenient than a wired one), play media (online, in a playlist, or individually) in the background, record everything from speeches to classes to notes for myself to audio streams, go online with just my USB cable and activesync when a PC is available but no wireless, listen to music in stereo, run everything much faster, be able to rely on my internal flash disk having enough space for everything instead of using CF cards (not that you should not still back up your data), and so much more. I just love my mPower, and have not even gotten it cleaned because I would hate to be without it. HTH.

Have a great day,
Alex

I'm going ot get my mpower next week and was wondering if you
could
all share how the mpower has helped you. and also the different
things from the classic. Also, what do I expect when I get it
