Hi Bobby and list,

The scan itself is probably as reliable as any scan can be. When many
radios are in the scan mode, they don't always see weaker signals. As a
consequence, they are passed up. Your stepping through the channels will
find the weaker signals more reliably. You then can place them in your
list. The BN radio is a bit deaf too which doesn't help but it sounds okay
and it works.

Subject: [Braillenote] another fm radio tip

July 10, 2007
Dear all,
If you remember I poasted a tip about nameing your presets in the
fm radio, now I have a tip about the scanning. I would not
recommend using the scan feature but rather going down using the
channel down which is space with dot 3 and the channel up which
is space with dot 6. I have found the scan somewhat unreliable
in that I have about 5 presets that are never picked up on the
scan. I would have probably never found them if I didn't go one
frequency at a time.
From,
Bobby
