What quality chip though and at what cost to Humanware per chip?
One does not mind paying provided what you buy is fully functional
and not of such extremely low performance ... and I have tried the FM
radio in many cities on several continents.
In other words, Humanware must re-think the business philosophy
behind deciding to use such poor quality.

If people did not ask for FM Radio in the first place, then HW would
not have added FM Radio chips on the mPower in the first place.

included as an accessory (some people might want it while others
does not need it; so those who want it can install it). Since
mPower and PK has sufficient processing power and satisfactory
microphones, I think VOIP (Voice Over IP, the way of using voice for
instant messaging such as Skype) can be implemented as an option.
Regarding MS Word support: I'll say it again, that MS Word support
should be implemented as soon as possible. HW did indicate that
they are looking for possibilities of upgrading to CE6.0, so I
believe MS Word support (up to Word 2003 documents at least) should
, done quickly as possible along with CE upgrade.
Regarding CE upgrade: I agree with Alex and others regarding this
matter: that HumanWare should upgrade to CE6.0 as soon as possible
or they'll face stiff competition from other blindness devices which
run at least CE5.0.
As I've said the other day, by upgrading to CE6.0, HW can ensure
that BrailleNotes would be up to date and more stable through use of
redesigned kernel.
Now, onto other stuff:
Regarding multitasking: in order for it to truly happen, KeySoft
applications should be split into multiple applications (so that
each process such as KeyWord and KeyBook has its own
executable). That should allow at least partial multitasking. The
reason why a competetor allows running up to 7 programs is that it
has separate executable for separate applications, and due to 32
process limit of CE4.1, it allows up to 7 programs of its own to be
run. (that's only my theory; Ray, Kevin, any other theories?)
Regarding Grade 3 Braille: Even though it is not supported, you can
in fact transcribe and read in Grade 3 Braille (assuming that you
turn off speech). I've done this countless times to transcribe and
read Grade 2 Korean Braille on my BrailleNote (I've even managed to
transcribe Braille Music with speech turned off). So assuming that
speech is turned off, you can transcribe on the BrailleNote using
Grade 3 Braille.
These are just my opinions.
