Hi there,

If you still have the problem:-
To take it's investigation further perhaps take a copy of the file, and remove information from it which is not the troublesome string. Basically, see if you can make a smaller file containing the problem and call HW about it. Do you still get the problem if you take out or change one occurrence of the problem string--I expect so.
Does find and replace first occurrence work?

Possible workarounds:-
Find each occurrence of the string then manually edit it--not much fun if there are many of them. Get the file on to a PC or laptop and change it there--not so helpful if you haven't got one or there are many files.

Regards,
Steve.

P.s.. What's that about the cedars of Lebanon?

Subject: [Braillenote] Find and Replace Help

Dear List,

I have a consistent problem in a file I'm working on, that I want
to get rid of with the Find and Replace function. I type in what
I want to find exactly as I see it (and I've made sure of that),
then type in my replacement, press enter, and hit A to replace
all. Strangely, however, my BrailleNote says it cannot find what
I am looking for. When I search for the same string with the
regular find function, however, there are no problems. How can I
rectify this situation?

Thanks in Advance

Kelby
