Hi,
Something strange is going on, that's for sure. In my previous message, I
mentioned that I had 531 messages in my inbox which were downloaded over the
weekend. Since I have since downloaded them to my PC as well, I decided to
trash everything in the inbox. Here's what happened.
1. At the inbox, I looked at the first message, went into the e-mail action
menu and marked all messages.
2. I then pressed d to delete them.
3. When I exited keymail, it asked me if I wanted to empty the trash of all
531 messages, so I said yes.
4. It came back with a message saying "trash emptied of 0 messages", or
something to that effect.
5. I then went back into keymail, and at the "read from which folder"
prompt, I selected the trash folder and did an i-chord to query the number
of messages. I was told that 0 messages were in the trash.
6. I then did a standard reset with no keys down.
7. I went back into keymail, repeated step 5 and was told that 531 messages
were in the trash.
8. I opened the trash folder and did a 3-6 chord to bring up the trash menu,
at which time I told it to empty the trash.
I got a message saying that the trash folder was emptied of 0 messages.
9. Just out of curiosity, I then went into e-mail setup and told it to free
database space. I was told that 0 bytes were freed.
I'm going to do some more testing on this as time permits.
Tom

Are any of you having any difficulties emptying the trash? I have a little
glitch in mine.
