Oh wow, thanks for that. I understand how the procedure works now, however I
couldn't really do it properly as I didn't have a proper Braille file to
export with. However I will try this again and will let you know if it
works. Thanks again, what a cool feature!

Hi Chris
1. Go to the File manager, press T for Translation Menu then E for Export
Document. You must then choose the file you want to export (choosing the
appropriate drive and folder as usual).
2. Once you enter on the file name, Keysoft prompts: export to which
device?
Type F for file.
3. Keysoft prompts: "export as which file type?" so cycle through the
available options with Space and dots 3-4 until you get Microsoft Word
File
and hit enter.
4. You must now select the drive and folder you want the file to be saved
in, do this in the usual manner.
5. Finally, Keysoft prompts: "destination filename" and once you have
typed
that in and pressed enter, the file has been successfully translated into
Word format.
The same process with "Import file" will translate a MS Word or other file
type into braille or text. There are a lot of other options in the
Translation menu which give various results. I only use import and export
though.
Good luck
Kylie

Subject: [Braillenote] Saving documents
Hi all,
I've just been reading that there is a bug whereby if you save a Braille
document to some text format, the document doesn't come out right,
correct?
If so, I have a question about the export translation feature. Let's say I
was doing an assignment on my mPower BT 32. I created it as a series of
Braille documents, but once it's ready for submission I'll need to somehow
save it as Word documents. How can I go about doing this using the export
translation feature? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
