Bobby, there's a way. Here's how to do it:
1. Transfer the zip file to the BrailleNote, or download them directly using
Keyweb.
2. In File Manager, press enter on rename file.
3. Find the zip file in question, then press enter. You'll be asked: "New
file name?". Type, in computer Braille, archive.bks, for example. After
that, press enter. Note that the .bks extension is manditory.
4. Follow the instructions to unpack the file, ignoring the "password?"
promt.
Hope that helps.

Subject: [Braillenote] suggestion for hw staff regarding
BrailleNotecompatibility with archives
August 30, 2007
Dear List but mainly hw staff,
I have a suggestian for your BrailleNote Archives. The BrailleNote users
should have the option to download the files off the internet for your
archives, but I noticed that all the files are zipped text which is not
compatible with the BrailleNote and this is the BrailleNote archives. I
don't mind viewing the archives on the web, but it would be nice to have
the option of downloading them onto the BrailleNote. I think that the
file formats should be changed to something like ascii text so that we at
least can download and read the archives from our BrailleNotes and not
have to have an internet connection wherever you go.
From,
Bobby Cavanaugh
