I would like to thank HW for releasing a stable version of KS7.5
so fast, and for working straight through the weekend. Joseph has
mentioned the major bugs, but none of them cause major
inconvenience or data loss. I also want to thank hW for putting
up with us and our insistance on having the new version "NOW" (I
include myself and am not picking on anyone). 7.5.20 seems, so
far, to work fine. So thanks to HW and their beta testers for
making this possible.
Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] KeySoft 7.5 Build 20 Now Available
Hello Everyone
We are pleased to advise that KeySoft 7.5 Build 20 is now
available.
To download KeySoft 7.5, go to
http://www.humanware.com/support/braillenote/keysoft_7.5_upgrade
We would like to acknowledge the dedication of the Beta Group for
their
diligent and thorough testing over the past 3 days, and we
sincerely thank
them for their efforts.
We recommend that User's of the previous KeySoft 7.5 Builds 17 or
18
upgrade to this version.
If you are upgrading from an earlier version of KeySoft 7.5 you
will not
need to install a new product key, as the installation will work
with your
existing 7.5 product key.
The Multilingual package is currently not available on the
BrailleNote PK.
We will release a separate package in the next week for those PK
Users
who wish to use this feature.
Issues Fixed
1. On exit from KeyMail when there was something in the Trash
Folder, the
content of whatever folder you were reading was erased.
2. When using the Save Command, Space with S, in a Braille file
to
translate a file to a text document, the file content was treated
as Grade
0 rather than being back translated.
3. The cursor position and reviewing option wasn't retained after
reading
or editing a BRF file when the User exited and re-entered the
file.
4. Nothing was displayed on the braille display when using
Multilingual,
German Grade 1.
5. When on a Link Start indicator in the browser, the second
press of
"Read Current Character" did not display the underlying URL.
6. The Exception Error generated when an attempt was made to use
German
multilingual.
7. Errors in the reporting occurring when connecting to a mail
server.
8. The exception error generated on entry into the Media Player
after
having paused stream playing.
People installing KeySoft 7.5 for the first time should follow
the
installation instructions provided for their appropriate
BrailleNote
model.
People upgrading from 7.5 Build 17 to 7.5 Build 18, will not need
to
install a new product key, as the installation will work with
your
existing 7.5 product key.
BrailleNote mPower and Classic Users only need to copy the
appropriate Bin
file to your installation card, insert the card, and perform a
Reset with
dots 4-5 held down. For QWERTY machines, press Reset with J and
K held
down.
BrailleNote PK Users need to copy the nb0 file to the CF card and
use the
BrailleNote_PK_Upgrade program to install the new ROM image.
Thanks to everyone for your patience in waiting for this release.
Best regards
Maurice
