If I download on to a cf card a book from the old site, why or why not can I read it on the stream. That is what I was hopint to do, because I have some that someone downloaded for me. I still need to practice with the old site. It is just finding the time. Thanks for any help. Terry Powers -----Original Message----- From: Ann K. You can play the BRF files on the BN, but not the ones from the audio site of NLS. You will have no difficulty telling the two kinds of files apart. The Braille files from Web Braille are small and they can be downloaded by your BN. The beta site for the audio books is available for anyone who has a Stream. If you want to join, you will need to fill out the application at: https://nlstalkingbooks.org/dtb You need to have a stream, and you need to be in good standing with your regional library. Joining Web Braille doesn't count. You need to be getting cassettes from NLS. You download the books on your computer, unzip them, then, you transfer them to the Stream. You may want to use a card reader to make it easier. It really isn't confusing at all, Terry. There are two separate web sites now, although I believe they are going to meld the two at some point in the future. If I can be of any other help, let me know. Ann P. -- Ann K.
