Hi,
Doesn't the delete Keylist folder and recreate it from system
disk give you a nice new but empty address list?
If so, or just in case anyway, before doing that, you might copy
all files in the Keylist folder, to a spare folder.
There look to be two other databases in that Keylist folder,
(Connection configurations and IEHistory, with their definition
files).
If they aren't corrupted, I should think you could just copy them
back.
With your Address list, you might be able to use the copy
function to copy from the broken list to the empty one.
If the problem is just that you can't add new ones, it might save
you having to re-enter all the others.
Regards,
Steve.

add new entries?
Hi, try this. Note this is on a BT keyboard:
1. At the main menu, press f.
2. At the File Manager Menu, press f again.
3. At the Folder Manager Menu, press e.
4. At the "erase folder on which drive?" prompt, make sure that
Flash Disk
is selected. To do this, press space to open the drive list, and
press f to
choose flash disk, then press enter.
5. At the "folder to erase?" prompt, type keylist and press
enter.
6. When prompted to erase the folder and any files/folders
contained in it,
press y.
7. When you're back at the Folder Manager Menu, immediately
perform a
standard reset. This will cause the BN to copy the Keylist folder
from the
KeySoft System Disk back to your Flash Disk, thus re-creating the
folder.
Hope that helps.

Subject: [Braillenote] the address book, not allowing me to add
new entries?
Hello list,
Before I go bugging technical support, I am hoping
someone on this list can help me.
Everytime I go to add someone to me address book, and
after filling out the fields with the necessary
information for the entry, I press space with dots 2-6
to add the entry, and the braille note responds with:
The operation completed successfully.
But when I go to look up the entry, it is not their at
all.
Note that it does not say record added just the
message as stated above.
Thank you for any assistance you can offer to me.
Sincerely,
Shane Davidson
