Well, I've taken everyone's suggestion and it won't even turn on. I guess
the next step is the RMA. Does anyone know how much this will cost? I don't
have a maintenance agreement. Thanks.

I echo Robert's suggestion. I personally would plug the unit into the mains
for about 20 minutes then perform the SYSTEM RESET. That is holding the 
RESET and RECORD. If this fails, then your best bet is to phone into
HumanWare and obtain an RMA.
