Cindy, you can't, on the BrailleNote/VoiceNote at least. This is a
hardware feature to conserve battery life and to gain maximum use of
the battery. The only way to "disable" it I guess is to plug it in or
connect to ActiveSync.

Hello!
I think your BN is going into sleep mode. When this happens, it stops
refreshing the Embosser with new material thus your embossing stops. I
would turn off sleep mode and try again! I'm assuming the document is
coming out as you expect or you set it up!

Subject: [Braillenote] mpower QT/embosser Romeo 25
I am trying to figure out what my problem is when embossing. I do not know
if it is the BN or the Romeo. First, here is my setup:
mpower QT32 KS 7.2 build 47
Romeo 25
Now for the problem. I can emboss short documents just fine. Whether I
they are print documents and the bn translates them or whether they are
translated into .brf documents and the mpower only sends them to the
embosser.
The problem occurs any time I try to emboss something longer than 1 or 2
pages. The current document I am using is already translated and it gets
stuck in the middle of page 4. I can take the embosser offline and when it
goes back online it continues (though sometimes drops parts) and continues
embossing but messes up on where the page breaks are at.
Can someone help me figure out if it is the embosser or the mpower? And
whichever it is can it be fixed?
Enabling isn't open on Sundays so I have to wait until tomorrow to call them
but I would like to fix this today if at all possible.
This is my first embosser so I will need explicit directions instead of
general ones.
TIA,
Cindy
