Hi Karen, As for external memory cards: these cards are cheap these days. You can get a 4 GB CompactFlash card for just around $100 or so (if I remember correctly). Cheers, Joseph P.S. Probably the best place to start might be a computer store near you who sells digital camera (make sure to ask for 3.3 volt cards).
