First, you are out of ram. As Brian said, hold down dots 4 5 and 6 (j k and l on a qt keyboard) and press reset. Keep holding them down until you hear the startup chime from the bn, at which time you can let go and follow any instructions that may follow, or you may just be at the main menu. As far as cards, the bn needs an upgrade before it will support hc cards. I believe there are non-hc sd cards of 4gb but am not sure. For cards and other electronics I strongly recommend http://www.newegg.com instead of stores, but if you don't like buying online I find Circuit City to be one of the better stores. If it is all the same, you may want to think about going with cf (compactflash, the cards for the larger slot in the back of your machine) instead. You can get these up to 16gb and they will still work.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] questions Can anyone explain this to me?
Thank youahead of time

Hello everyone. I have a couple of questions. Could someone
explain this one to me. Again, I'm very new to computers, and
have only had the braillenote a month. Still learning. Now the
questions: When I am surfing the internet and try to keep going
through websites eventually, the b n says that it cannot execute
commands because it has run out of storage space. Is this
because I haven't got a flash card, or sd card in the machine? Or
is this something else. It looks like the sites are so large
they just don't go on the machine. Am I right?
Second question: I went to our Staples store and asked for a sd
card, and on that package it says that it is only for cameras and
cell phones. It is 4 megs I think, and says it is high capacity.
Did I buy the wrong thing? Please let me know as I have 14 days
for a return. Card was about $75 or $80 so this would be
essential to know for me. Thank you for any responses. Karen
and Harpo guidedog
