Martha,

I am not sure if you ever received a response to your question regarding memory
and BookShare, which you sent out Christmas Eve.

1. Unpacking a BookShare book with a .bks extension.
First, you will want to navigate to the Book Reader and navigate to where the
packed book is by selecting the drive/folder/file. You
will then want to make sure that it has a .bks extension. You will press ENTER
on the packed book and follow the given prompts and
enter your password and the book should be unpacked in the chosen directory.

2. Checking memory, QT commands will be in parenthesis
>From the Main Menu
Press SPACE with O (FUNCTION with O) for KeySoft Options
Press SPACE with I (READ with I) for Support Information mode
Press SPACE with I (READ with I) for Memory Information

Hope this helps.

Subject: [Braillenote] Two Questions

Merry Christmas to all!

Martha here.

My first question is about the book reader and unpacking books. I've tried
various ways to unpack several books, but the message always says, "unable
to unpack bookshare book error code 3". What does that code mean?

Second, I understand you can tell what percentage of memory you have. How
does one do that?

I look forward to the answers.

Thanks!

Martha Loescher
