Leslie,

I notice that this is the second time that you have sent this message, so I am
thinking it is because you didn't' receive a
response the first go-around.

The Please Wait message when a card is being inserted or any removable media is
an indication that the unit is taking its time to
recognize the device, finding out if it works, and powering it on, once this is
completed you will cet the message about the device
being ready for use. Typically for the suppression of removable media, it
shouldn't take any longer than 5 seconds. If you are
noticing that it take closer to 10 seconds and still nothing has happen, the
likely hood is the unit locked up, in which time a C3C4
Reset will be required.

The Please Wait message throughout the rest of KeySoft is a sign of loading
progress. I would say that if you don't receive any
response from the unit after about 30 seconds and the Please Wait message
continues to display, a Reset is to be done.

Hope this clarifies what is going on.

Kevin

Subject: [Braillenote] ""Please wait"

Hey,

I need to understand more about the Braille display says, "please wait".
Ofcourse, I know what is it mean but I do not know why it says and I wait a
short time but some time long. Sometime it froze (like I wait 15 minutes or
longer. I can not hear any sound from the BrailleNote PK, even I did not
feel any vibrating. How could I know it is live or dead?

Is it depending on the signal strength level? I am talking that I am using
the WiFi card in it.
