Hi Alana,
Have you tried Rich Text Format (RTF)?
Cheers,
Joseph P.S. What happens if you modify the file on your BrailleNote?

Subject: [Braillenote] Problem with file
continuing

Hi,

I have still experienced the problem with the
same file. The problem is the
same as the one I mentioned in an earlier
post.

Once I have modified it on my laptop, I get
that indicator of dollar sign
with gle next to it. On review with speech
there are also format markers [I
forgot to mention that part. Sorry about
that] and those indicators are
spoken when reviewed character by character.

I have translated the file into a Braille
file and I only get those format
markers, no dollar sign with gle. If I
translate it into a text document I
don't get the proper contents I need either.

Do I need to change something on my laptop
because these problems only
happen when I modify the file on my laptop.
At least that is what I have
noticed anyway?

If I create the file on my BN as a Braille
file and then translate the file
as a word file and modify the word file and
put the new file back in my BN,
I still get this problem.

Alana
