Kathryn, If there is a card that works in either the Classic or PK and does not work in the mPower, it is most likely as a result of the card using 5 volts. When the mPower was introduced, HumanWare wanted to assure the long battery life that everyone came to know being available to the BrailleNote family of products, but this was rather tricky with the introduction of USB, Bluetooth, internal microphone, FM tuner and the various other features/hardware improvements that were made in the mPower, so they decided to cut back on the amount of power a card can draw. It si very possible to purchase CompactFlash cards of 16GB, so if one were in the rear slot and one were in the side slot, that would be a total of 32GB, not accounting for the space that is not accessible due to formatting.

Everyone is very helpful... hopefully with her questions answered she can more fully utilize this powerful machine. Kathryn ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
