It is supposed to. The email is in the database that is keymail,
and each folder has what you can think of as a link to the email.
Erase it from any location and it is erased from the database.
In some folders, I cannot remember which, you have an option to
either delete from that folder only or move the email to trash.
This may be your best bet. Sorry this didn't really help, but
that is what is going on as I understand it.

When I save email, it saves to three folders. When I erase one
