It does this a lot!
I'll list the steps here how to do it but I'm sure you did
everything you were supposed to.
1st: go to the keymail / email menu.
2nd: press the reset button.
3rd: when the unit says main menu go to the keymail / email menu.
4th: go to the keymail setup menu / the email setup menu.
5th: go to free database space press enter.
6th: wen it's done go back to the main menu by hitting (e) cord
until you here main menu; or hit (1-2-3-4-5-6) cord until you
hear main menu.

Hi, I went to free database space, and it looked like the bn was
going to do this with the beeps and all, but when it stopped
beeping, it said 0 dataspace freed. Did something happen I don't
