If you need a machine which has all of the functionality and power of a PC,
then a UPC like the SmallTalk Ultra with a braille display and WindowEyes
might be the best. Any notetaker, whether it's for the blind or the
sighted, won't be able to do all the things a PC can do because the software
in them is scaled down.
In six years, the technology will be different and there may be something
else which is superior to anything available today.
