Thanks for your thouts about the Pack Mate, Grant.

Estin, glad to hear you are staying with HW. I am too. The only big
down fall I have to complain about HW is lack of coverage for old
displays in transplants. I do not see how HW could not have seen this
braille display problem coming on. They just did not tell us in time
and did not do any thing about it. Since they did not find a new
facturer or even ask the new display company if they could make the old
displays for a while, I think they owe something to their customers.
They should allow us to keep our maintainance agreements open and when
our display needs repair, sell us a new display for half price.
I am not trying to be mean, but they should have been more on the ball
with their contracters and known when first signs of this problem aroze.
By the time you put the price of a transplant and having to buy a new
display, it will equal out to buying a new unit, but I will not have a
new unit.
I sure miss Jonothan and Dean. When they were on the list, questions
that people did not know the answers to, they would help out. They were
very helpful and very explanitory. For such a smart man, I would never
know Dean had epelepsi. I say this because I have it too and I sure am
not any computer wiz!

I've always had great results with humanware usa. They've helped me
extremely and I thank them. I sent my braillenote to Humanware to get
serviced nothing major just a new battery. I needed it right after
spring break for state assessments so I explained my situation to some
key people at Humanware and I got it back with in a week. I plan to
stay with Humanware and I tell all my blind and visually impaired
friends about them and my good experiences with them. Sure I have
things that are problems doesn't everyone but this is the notetaker for
me and I hope we can stay positive about the issue.
