I hate transplants, their hardware still shows the marks of
keysoft 6.11 and lower, and the one I had even had keysoft 3.03
files left on it... spooky.

Hi,
Orhan writes:
well, i use a Bn, and if it was stable like the classic, i
would really
like my Bn. i like james, have to use my Bn in school.
when i had the classic, i thaught the braillenote was the best
Pda for
stability. now, since the release of the MPower, the Mpower
can't cope
with hardware it has.
Since I have an MPower transplant, I can't comment on the
quality of the
newer displays. I've had two issues with MPower hardware, one
of which
was admittedly due to my own foolishness. I accidentally tried
to put a
memory stick into the SD card slot and messed it up. The other
issue had
to do with the back planes going out, rendering my display
inoperative.
Aside from that, my MPower's worked great, though I may be about
do for a
new battery later this year.
Having seen the new Braille Sense Plus at CSUN this year, I have
to wonder
what's in store for the MPower in terms of hardware. I hope the
Humanware
guys are thinking about what the Braille Sense Plus may do to
the
viability of the MPower as it now stands.
Tom
