Uhh, yeah? Lol that's sorta obvious. One bd thing about the
braille plus (which I own):
The things break. For example, I plug it in, right? And use it,
right? For a long time. And then, I repeat this cycle (use,
charge, use charge etc).
The docking port of my unit sort of "snapped", and now I can't
charge it unless I send it in. Which I still haven't done yet
lol!

Along with CE 5, the Braille Sense Plus will have:
Built-in Bluetooth and wired and wireless Internet (built-in)
Wireless
network : IEEE 802.11b/g
8GB built-in flash memory
Clear MP3 format recording and powerful media player
Battery : Lithium Ion (detachable and rechargeable)
It does only come in a 32 cell model and only with a braille
keyboard; but
8GB of flash memory as compared to 128 MB, what is wrong with
this picture?
Not to mention the Braille Plus from American Printing House
running on the
Linux platform, built-in wireless and bluetooth, with the 30 GB
hard drive
built-in and weighing only 7.5 ounces. No braille display yet,
but that
will be coming as an attachment.
I think Humanware has a bit of catching up to do.
I hope they do catch up, because they are a fine company that has
been
producing excellent equipment for quite a while now.

Hi, Joseph,
The name is Claude, and whatever the case I hope that humanWare
gets the
lead out and upgrades to the new C 5. version in the next
release.
If the competition can upgrade to that variant then HumanWare can
also.

Hi Cluade,
Few corrections: From specs that I've seen, I'm 90% confident
that Braille
Sense Plus uses CE 5. PAC Mate has CE 5.2 (Windows Mobile 6;
don't be
confused between these two).
Someday, I'll post the differences between CE and Windows Mobile
on my
PBWiki site (maybe tm)...
Cheers,
Joseph

I certainly hope that they consider the C
upgrade seriously. Since the GW
Micro product Braille Sense Plus, is, or will
be using C5, and the Pack
Mate is using C6. HumanWare can't continue
holding on to this dinosaur much
longer, or the family of BrailleNote products
will become extinct.

Hi Alana,
Are you upgrading to 7.5 build 28? Now,
Windows ce hasn't changed yet.
However, if you are in an Ssl network, this
upgrade allows it.
When you download email, you don't send out
email from the outbox. You do
this as a separate step.
Email and internet is usually a little
faster. I don't use the Uak
tables, but they're available.
Hope this helps.
Living in the Present One day at a time,
This is enough. Do not look back
and grieve over the past. For it is gone.
And do not be troubled about the
future. For it has not yet come. Live in
the present, and make it so
beautiful. That it will be worth
remembering.

Hi,
I was just wondering what the new KeySoft
upgrade might include.
Is it a CE upgrade as well?
