Ottawa Canada Dear Sharonda and list:
Files that are Keyword Text or Braille type can only be used on a BrailleNote or VoiceNote, but files in RTF, TXT etc format are perfectly usable on a PC or other brand of PDA. That is really nice of you to give your BrailleNote to an underprivileged high school student. Can't his parents convince the school district to buy a BrailleNote or similar PDA for him to use in school? Its pretty bad when friends and neighbors have to buy school kids stuff they need the school district won't! Have heard well founded rumors that certain school districts use their special education funding for purposes such as funding away games for their football teams and such. Heard of at least one investigative newspaper reporter who received credible threats of harm to his and his family's lives, limbs and property if he pursued his investigation into what a certain city does with its special ed money. Seems the corruption goes darn near to the top of the state department of education. Brian Brian K.
