I had a similar experience. I put files on the card, but it did not show
up. When I took the card out and turned my bn off and on, it found the
files.

I recently had difficulty getting files with abt extension to
show up.) these are braille files brailled in braille 2000) When
I used the x with space, I think. Well when I used the x command
when I first was asked which file to open they showed um. When I
was in the list of files I couldn't get them to list. Strange
but change the type of file to find when first asked which file
you want to open.
