You're correct, Blazie later FS used to recommend using pure Isopropyl alcohol for cleaning their displays and I believe TSI before them did too. However Humanware recommends water. I don't know why they don't recommend alcohol. Perhaps someone tried cleaning their display with Captain Morgan's Dark Rum one time and gummed up the works with the licorice they use in it for coloring and flavor. Try anything you like to clean your display, but if it isn't water don't say Humanware didn't tell you not to use it! Brian Brian K.
