Dear list,
I would like to comment on what Kevin Chao said because I have heard it said several times before. If someone asks for a feature and you say "well,
it's a PDA, and if you want that feature you should really get a computer"
it begs the question: why get a BrailleNote in the first place if it's not
going to meet your needs? A computer is cheaper and it has the Word support
and the features I need. Now we all have our own reasons for using
BrailleNotes, and they are all perfectly good reasons.
I use my BrailleNote because my school funds it for me. I have to use it in school because they prefer it over a laptop due to it's efficiency and portability.
All I am trying to
say is that if we are paying thousands of dollars for a piece of technology,
I think we ought to be able to expect that it meets are needs in the
wrokplace or in the classroom, and that it stay current and competitive.
Yes, I agree with that totally. I mean, my school pay for it now, but when I go to college or university, I will only spend thousands of pounds on this thing if it is current. Otherwise, no way, jose. > Sorry if my comments are harsh.
Beyond the CE version, memory upgrade and expanded Word support, I'd
like to see the Global Find, I'd like better support for the web, email and java, and I'd love to see the SDK and the built-in wifi. Built in WiFi will be awesome!
Now you might say
I'm being unrealistic.
No you are not. You are being very realistic indeed.
Thanks,
Craig

I also would like to see the ability to group email messages by thread, and
