I think I have a handle on this subject and I hope I can explain it to all.
Suppose you created a braille document and you forgot to write an email
address in computer braille but you wrote it in grade two instead. This
kind of mistake can't be corrected using the block commands--you must
correct it manually.
Suppose you created a braille document and you remembered to write the email
address in computer braille but you forgot to insert the codes. You can use
the block commands. First mark the top and bottom of the block. Second,
when you see "block commands" prompt, type the letter l. You will be
prompted, "Language is English USA" (Or whatever country you live in.)
Press enter. Then you'll get the prompt, "braille grade is grade two."
Type c for computer braille. The block will now appear in computer braille
but all of your letters will appear in caps.
Suppose you were given a file which had some computerese in it and you
translated it into braille without adding the codes. The block commands
will work for this just the same as I mentioned above.

In "utilities" you find "miscellaneous commands" "enter" on that option
and compatibility should be there.
If it is and that doesn't help I can't advise you further.

Try going to the "utilities" menu and "space" down to "compatibility" it
should be "off". If it's "on" type "f" and press "enter" and go and try

document again to see if you can access the "block commands".
To the person asking about changing the grade of braille by first
selecting
a block of text in a document: having selected it with "top" and "bottom"
you need to "space" down till you hear the option "grade of braille in
block
correct braille grade" press "enter" and then choose 0 1 or 2 for the
desired grade you want for the block and press "enter".
I expect the change will be done.
