Hi Karen and list,

No the BrailleNote will not currently read pdf files.

If you receive one as an attachment, you can "forward" it to your pc which
often can read them to you via Jaws or WE.

To "forward" the email when in the email press "space" and the "en sign" (2,6)
and arrow down to "forward" then send it to yourself.

When on the pc, you can either use Adobe to read through the file or else
create a .txt version by pressing "alt" and "f" plus "v" and typing a filename.
That file will be saved as a .txt document in "my documents" on your pc.
You can then either forward that document as an attachment to your BN or read
it on the pc.

Best wishes,
Stefan Slucki.

Probably the BN will not read these, but can someone tell me if
loaded onto a computer like my Del, can I read them? And, if I
happen to put these on my BN downloaded, can I get them back to
my computer for the reading, and is it hard because I don't know
enough about these things to do it right the first time. Karen
Thanks ahead of time. Noticed many emergency prep pages are pdf.
Was trying to get these.
