You'r right, Ray.
The FM radio is mostly junk, the
earphone wire doesn't help 'that much
for antenna purposes. Depending on the
frequencies you have in mind, Paul,
putting an antenna on a BN that would
actually function any at all, would be a
real challenge. The rubber duck
antennas, for any frequency, accept up
in the 800 MHZ band, are virtually
useless unless you're authorized to use
a repeater system, then they don't
always work that well.

With all due respect, no on the walky
talky feature. You can get push
to talk and direct connect cell phones
for that. Strictly a personal
opinion, but I think the FM Radio is a
piece of junk and ought to be
done away with. I can't even get it to
pick up our local jazz station
and we're less than a mile from its
tower.
