I can answer question 2, and that is to hook up the BN and the printer/embosser with a Usb cable.

Subject: [Braillenote] braille display and braille printers

Hi all,

I have two questions for you. I don't know the answer to either
of them. The first is how do you go about hooking your
braillenote to a computer so it can acts as a braille dispay? I
have Hal version 9.03 and it has humanware listed as Pulse Data
in the braille displays. I have an HP computer that does not
have a serial port, so I think I need a serial to USB converter
to accomplish this.

The other question is how do you go about hooking your
BrailleNote to a braille printer? Thank you so much for all your
assistance, I really appreciate it. Have a great day.

Musically,
Marissa
