Hi Kristen,
The second example that you've provided will not work, since the
date for easter is determined in somewhat of a complicated way.
As for the holiday season, it is possible to do it (I've verified
the below steps using my BrailleNote):
1. From Planner, press SPACE with dots 2-6 (CTRL plus ENTER on
QT) to schedule an appointment.
2. At the "Appointment Time" prompt, press BACKSPACE to go to
date field. Type the date on when the appointment would be
scheduled e.g. November 30th. Press ENTER.
3. cht the "Appointment Time" field: type the time, or press l
for "all day event" then press ENTER.
4. Type the title of the event, such as "Start of the holiday
season" then press ENTER (otherwise KeyPlan gives you an error).
5. Press SPACE until the prompt "Recurrence" is displayed.
Press y for "yearly" then press ENTER.
6. Then KeyPlan says, "Occurs on (date) of each year?"
where (date) is the date you've set up for this event e.g.
November 30th. Press n for No then ENTER.
7. Then BrailleNote says, "week of occurrence." Select the week
of occurrence. Since the season begins on the Sunday after the
Thanksgiving, you might select "last". Press ENTER.
8. Next, the date of the occurrence is displayed. Select the
date on which the season begins (here, we selected Sunday) then
press ENTER.
9. Press SPACE with e (ESC) then y to schedule the event.

OK, SAY YOU HAVE A YEARLY REOCCURRING EVENT THAT NOT ONLY CAN
FALL ON A DIFFERENT DATE IN THE MONTH BUT ALSO CAN FALL ON
DIFFERENT MONTHS.
EXAMPLE:
THIS YEAR ADVENT (THE PREPARATORY SEASON BEFORE CHRISTMAS) BEGINS
ON November 30th, AND THERE ARE FOUR WEEKS IN ADVENT.
HOWEVER, NEXT YEAR IT BEGINS November 29th, THE NEXT YEAR
NOVEMBER 28th, THE NEXT YEAR NOVEMBER 27th, AND THE NEXT YEAR
NOVEMBER 25th, ETC.
ANOTHER EXAMPLE IS EASTER.
THIS PAST EASTER FELL ON March 23rd, NEXT YEAR IT IS GOING TO
FALL ON April 12th, IT HAS FALLEN ON April 17th, April 21st, AND
I THINK APRIL 30th, AND MAY 1st, ETC.
SO, IS THERE A WAY TO SET UP A YEARLY REOCCURRING EVENT THAT CAN
QUITE REGULARLY FALL NOT JUST ON A DIFFERENT DATE EACH YEAR BUT
ALSO IN A DIFFERENT MONTH EACH YEAR?!?
THIS WOULD REALLY HELP ME TO FOLLOW ADVENT AND LENT WITHOUT
HAVING TO ASK SOMEONE WHO CAN SEE WHEN EVERYTHING IS GOING TO
FALL EVERY YEAR!
