Hello,
Usually, I exit out to the main menu, turn off the unit and pull
out the card.
If I forget, and go to another program, such as reading a keyword
file, within seconds it will lock up and I have to perform a
reset.
I never had this problem with the old ambicom cards.
I am hoping that Hw will come out with a driver to fix this.
Thanks,
Robert Stigile

It usually works, but when it does not I have to service reset
out of it. No, I had not disconnected, but I never do.
Have a great day,
Alex

hi
had you disconnected from the network before pulling out the
card?
it sounds like it has now failed twice - how many times would you
say you have been able to use it successfully?
just trying to get a feel as to whether the problem is
intermittent
regards
steve

hi all
i am still fighting with my ambicom g card from hw and still mad
that it is too fat to fit in my pcmcia adapter i emailed the
list a couple days ago about my bn freezing so completely that it
would not even respond to a reset i thought it was because i
was playing audio but it just happened again when i was
doing nothing? i was at either the keymail or main menu i do
not remember which and the bn was switched on i pulled out the
card intending to save battery while i opened a book and read it
for a while (general fraction open) i do not have my adapter
handy (general fraction close) when i did my bn
immediately shut off and again would not respond to anything
less than a service reset (general fraction open) reset and
record buttons held down (general fraction close)
maybe i was low on ram and that is the problem i did not look at
my ram before pulling out the card but i had been online earlier
some and so my ram could have been low because of the amazing ram
management in ce. do i have to turn off my bn to pull out the
card as well as put it in? am i just lucky and this is happening
to no one else this these new cards?
have a great day
alex
