I have found this problem in my machine as well, after a service reset (which simulates a flat battery and then a restoration of power). I thought it was because I could never remember if we are in daylight savings time or not, and the bn was correcting my mistake, but I guess not. In short, I can confirm this bug with ks7.5.29 on an mpower bt32, hardware revision RVC6S.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] time bug when resetting!

Hey all:

I don't monitor this list on a daily basis, so maybe this bug has
been
discussed before. If not, I'm wondering if anyone knows anything
about it.
I work in a school and thus see a lot of Braille Notes that go
dead because
the battery is allowed to go flat. When connected to AC power,
Keysoft is
restarted and the prompts for time zone and other information are
presented.
This bug involves entering the time in this sequence. No matter
what time
is entered, Keysoft sets the clock for an hour later. So, for
example, if I
enter 10:52 A at the time prompt, the clock is set to 11:52 A.M.
Once I
reach the main menu, I can go in and set the clock again and
Keysoft behaves
as expected. I have seen this bug in multiple builds of Keysoft.
I
actually discovered this bug several months ago because I had a
student show
up to a meeting an hour early as she was only relying on the
clock on her
BN. Does anyone know anything about this bug? Has it been
documented with
HumanWare?
Any info much appreciated.
Jim
