Thanks.

Can anyone on the list serve help me? When I try to print a doc using my BN the print form comes out half way down the page. How do I get it to start at the top of the page?
Thanks,
Jerry

I almost never print, so, unfortunately, I cannot help you.
Sorry. You can ask the list, though; I am sure someone on there
has run into this as I have heard of it happening before.

Have a great day,
Alex

Hello Alex,
I see your name on the list server alot, so I assume that you
know a little bit about the BN. I was wondering what the
solution is when I print a document, using my BN, and the print
comes out half way down the page for no reason. Any assistance
would be appreciated.

First, and most importantly, is your new card a b or g? You can
tell on the Ambicoms by feeling the part that sticks out of the
bn when inserted. The b model that hw used to sell has a curvy,
kind of diagonal line on the top, and the part of the card (if
the holes are facing you) that is furthest away is higher than
the part of the card on your side of that line. The g cards
have
no such line, just a very small depression running from left to
right (with the cardin the same position). If you have any
vision, it seems that the b cards have a small LED on them while
the g cards do not.
If you have the b card, that is just strange. I would try a
4-5-6 reset, removing all media before you do so.
If it is a g card, you must have your unit turned off to put the
card in or it will lock up immediately. I would also try the
above reset; it seems that with this new card the more you take
it out and put it in the more frequently you have to do plain
and
even service resets.
HTH!

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] wi-fi question

Hello, everyone,
I have an issue with a new wireless card that I just bought.

I am using an M Power with Build 29 installed in it. I have two
wireless cards. One is an Ambicom which is the card that has
been compatible with the Braille Note for some time. This card
appeared to be unstable so I bought another wireless card which
is the Ambicom wl54cf card. When I insert this new card, I read
the "network card ready" message on the display. However, when I
scan for a network connection, I can't find one and the Braille
Note locks up. Is there a connection configuration option that I
have to change in order to use this new card? Do I have to go
into my computer and change something on my router? I am using a
Linksys router, if that makes a difference. Any help with this
issue would be appreciated.
I have been away from the list for quite some time so if this
topic has been covered before, I apologize.
Thanks for any help.
Karen
