sounds like you're in the compatibility mode to me, can't remember how to
turn it off though

I'm getting a strange occurrance. Supposedly when I hit chord b its suppose
to open the block menu. Instead when I hit that key combination it acts like
a backspace and deletes the prior character. How do I get this to perform
the correct function?
