Hi, I don't know what will happen with your contacts from outlook because I didn't have any in mine before I synced it with my Bn, but I can say that you don't have to have a last name for someone in your Bn address book. I have a few with just their first name.

Good luck and hope I helped a bit.

Subject: [Braillenote] Question regarding synchronizing Outlook
contactswith the BN

I have a lot of contacts in Outlook that are company names such
as Best Buy.
I have always placed these names in the "company" field when
entering them
into Outlook. As I read the BrailleNote manual, it appears that
a last name
is required when entering contacts into the BrailleNote. What
will the BN do
with the Outlook contacts which I have already entered in the
manner
described above? Thanks.
