I have that card and have never had that problem, though I have found that errors like not connecting or having keymail errors happen much more frequently and can often be (temporarily) fixed with a service reset. Ensure that you are not inserting the card with your unit on; it must be off for the card to be plugged in, then when you turn on your device the card will be correctly detected and enabled; otherwise a reset is needed to clear the freeze that comes from putting this card in the bn when it is on.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] Recent trouble when my wireless card and
ac adapterare both plugged inand how to fix it

HI. Recently, I have experienced freezing on the part of my bn
whenever my wireless ambicom 54g card and my ac adapter are both
plugged in. This makes it necessary to then do a service reset.
I am conscious of the fact that Humanware always say not to do
this unless it is an all out emergency, and preferably when it is
supervised by a technical support representative, but lately,
even after a 456 or even a 123 reset, my bn doesn't display the
starting music, and it just says, starting keysoft.
How to fix it. After you have reset, you need to disconnect both
the power supply and the wireless card and then after the bn has
come back to life, reconnect them.
My point is: Does anyone know why this has actually just started
to happen a lot more frequently? Cheers, Blake.
