Hi, I can tell you that you can't use it as a Braille display directly via
USB, however I've heard of people successfully using usb to serial adaptors,
which creates a virtual serial port, which can be accessed by your prefered
screen reader.

Subject: [Braillenote] Braillenote MPower QT as Bluetooth Display in Vista

After reading a couple responses here on list, the outlook is gloomy and I'm
frankly quite perturbed. Prior to posting a message to this list, I had
already gone through many attempts to resolve the issue with a Humanware
technical support specialist on the phone . At no time during that
conversation did they indicate a possibility of this combination of MPower
and Vista not working. The tech support agent chalked our failures up to a
problem with the bluetooth software on the laptop in question.

So, I direct my question now to Humanware, and would expect a candid
response. Does the Braillenote MPower, running Keysoft 7.5.29 work as a
bluetooth display in Windows Vista? Can the MPower work as a display via
USB? I hadn't even attempted that option, since my client would far prefer
the wireless benefit of bluetooth. So, if the MPower is not in fact
compatible with Vista, how come the Humanware team hasn't addressed this
issue, and why are the support personnel who are being paid to disseminate
the information not aware of the situation?

I'd love to stumble upon the definitive answer here.

Scott
