Hi, while I agree that a Braille charger would be great, Humanware, and
other companies, always say that if the unit is damaged due to using an
unsupported charger, then we might void our warranty, right? I love the
idea of a car adapter but how can you buy an adapter compatible with all
yor
electronics i.e. laptop, cell phone, BrailleNote, and MP3 player? Thanks.

appointments in either file? Which of the keyplan files to I need

I am running KS 7.5 built 28 if that makes any difference. The

attempting to import were made in KS 7.2, although it doesn't

I think that Hw tec support is woeful.
When someone emails a problem to any of the other lists that i
subscribe to, as well as people that belong to that list
responding, a person from within the rellevant company always
responds.
I only have to site Sendero as an example. Mike or Chris are
there in a flash to help out. In fact, they often both respond.
Does anyone from Hw ever read and monitor emails sent to the
list?
Let's see how long it is before someone from Hw responds to
Kylie's problem.
When the braille display stopped working on my m-power, I
purchased a pk, and I transfered my keylist files, via a cf card,
to my pk, and all the information on them is intact.
As well as the address list, I have 4 other keylist files which I
have modified, and transfered succsessfuly.
I only mention this to demonstrate that it can be done. As to
what the problem is, I'm afraid I've got no idea.

never get help from tech support. Last time I had to wait for a
long time to get help on a certaint problem and what do I get? I
get yelled at! I was asking for help with keySync which

Well, if this information is correct, it will be about right for
the time of convention. Generally, this is the case. I know
March, April, and May had been given as dates. Conventions
start in July, so this will be right on target for just about all

Hello, this is not a bad idea. But, there's a pretty easy work
around for this issue. A power converter works just fine. Auto
Zone as well as many gas stations and electronic stores sell
them. They can also be purchased online at sites such as Amazon
and buy.com
Anyway, I bought one at autozone for around $20. It works just
great for the braillenote as well as the laptop and cellphone.

I noticed with my braille note that the network card freezes the braille
display or my empower a lot. Is that a problem with the driver? Cause when
I
have the wireless card not in the machine it doesn't freeze. But you can't
back up and use the old driver anymore as the humanware web sight states.
I am using an ambee com 54gb card.
Would appreciate ane help on this or info.

This seems to be a common issue with this particular card. It may have to
do
with the roundabout approach that HumanWare took to get it working.

Eric, this has been a question of mine. My dictionary is on a
Compact Flash card. Because I use the g 54 wireless card, I have
to take that card out before I can do anything with email. When
I looked at the KeySoft 8.0 upgrade points, I didn't see anything
that mentioned this. I sure hope it does, because the G 54 is
all we can find these days.

I realize that we probably aren't going to get any information
anytime soon, about what all the new upgrade is going to do,but,
the issue of the wireless cards is certainly something that needs
to be at the fore-front of the matter. When using the G 54 card
in my BN stuff, running 7.5 build 31, when you have the wireless
card in the machine, you can not use your Pc cards without a lot
of hassle, including the machine freezing up. I hope they
re-design or put in the drivers necessary to allow us to use our
Pc cards with the G 54, especially since one can no longer find
the Ambicom 1100s.
I think it would be considered not only courteous but helpful if
somebody who happens to be in the know, in the HW software
developing officialdom, could or would take a bit of time to
answer this question. Better yet, if this isn't going to happen,
give us a suggestion of something that works as well as the
Ambicom 1100 so we can use the Pc cards as we do our work.
I don't think that's asking a lot to have that issue addressed.
