Hi,
I don't know, but where I would look depends on what a .BRF file
is.
Does that basically contain text, or is it the BrailleLite's
address book format?
If its text, you might be able to make a database similar to the
address book and edit the .BRF file so it can be imported to the
database.
Then edit the database definitions file to change it so that it
looks like a Keylist file.
(You need to be careful with the file you import from, perhaps
put the column headings in the first row so you can map each
column to the right database field.
Also you probably need the database fields in the right order,
same order as the address book.
In fact, you could may be copy the template Keylist address book
file and make a database out of that.
This file is in KeySoft system disk\windows).
Then copy the records using "Copy addresses" in KeyList from your
made up Keylist file into the address book.
Sorry, this is a bit off the top of my head so hope it makes some
sense.
Regards,
Steve.

Subject: [Braillenote] Importing .BRF Phonebook file into PK
Addressbookfrom Becky Skipper
Hi, I have a BrailleNote PK. Prior to owning a PK, I used a
BrailleLite M20
which stored all of my addresses and contacts in a .BRF file. Is
there a
way to import the phone.BRF file directly into the BrailleNote
addressbook
so I don't have to type all my entries by hand? Thank you.
Becky
