No. If it's not a game for the bn or an application for the bn distributed by 
hw or an html program, it won't install.  Any driver has to be modified by hw.

Not directly, no, but a reader should let you use any card you
like.  Sounds like the reader is just not supported, surprise!!
Try another one.  The only other thing I can think of is that the
reader needs more power than the bn can give; the bn can put out
a total of 500 milliamps from either or both ports, not more (so
one can put out 500, or one can put out 100 while the other puts
out 400, and so on).  I doubt a card reader needs more than 500,
but it is possible, I suppose.
