Since you asked for opinions, I will give mine. It is my belief that it is
generally a good idea to download the latest firmware of a product because
there are probably stability fixes even if there aren't a lot of new
features that jump out at you. I do not check e-mail or surf the net with my
BrailleNote so I can't comment on any changes there, and I have not played
with KeyChat. The features I do use do not seem to have been impacted one
way or the other by the upgrade.
